COMMUNITY GIVING POLICY

M & S Harley-Davidson has a strong philosophy of supporting local charities and events that serve to meet needs in Chambersburg and in our surrounding communities.

Although we cannot support every request submitted, we do our best to be fair and equitable, placing emphasis on local children’s charities, police and fire/rescue department benefits, and those local organizations championed by the biker community.

 Each year M & S Harley-Davidson pre-determines a budgeted amount of in-kind property donations for the support of community activities and charitable causes with consideration given to existing working relationships with various organizations.

Requests are reviewed on a calendar year on a first come, first serve basis.

Specific Guidelines Of Requesting Organization:

• Must be a nonprofit 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization
• Demonstrates direct employee involvement or interest
• Meets important community needs
• Demonstrates sound management and financial capability

PROCEDURES FOR SUBMITTING A REQUEST

All requests must be submitted by completing the M & S Harley-Davidson Community Giving Request Form and submission of any supporting documents.

A minimum of 60 days for review and action on your request is suggested.
